For a romantic happy hour, try Salt Life, The Boat House, or the rooftop at The Patio Place. Want something extra special? The Ritz-Carlton’s Lobby Bar is a luxurious pick with cozy vibes and artisan drinks.
4. Schedule a Spa Day for Two
The Spa at The Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island is a serene escape with couple’s massages and private relaxation lounges. You also have access to their adults only, private pool before and after your massage. I've had many wonderful girls days here. Book your spa day here.
5. Dine by Candlelight
For a cozy and delicious dinner, I recommend Burlingame, David’s, or España Restaurant & Tapas. These spots offer intimate atmospheres and amazing cuisine. Reserve ahead—especially for weekend nights!
6. Bike Through Egan’s Creek Greenway
For active couples, a tandem bike ride or a quiet walk through this peaceful preserve is a refreshing way to spend a morning. You’ll see wildlife, marsh views, and maybe even a heart-shaped cloud or two. Learn More Here.
7. Explore Historic Downtown Fernandina
Hand-in-hand strolls, art galleries, and charming boutiques—downtown has a relaxed, storybook feel. Don’t miss dessert at Nana Teresa’s Bake Shop or a romantic brunch at Garden Street Bistro.
8. Stay at a Charming B&B or Oceanfront Resort
Whether you're looking for luxury or something quaint and cozy, Amelia Island has options. Consider Elizabeth Pointe Lodge (my personal favorite), The Addison on Amelia, or an ocean-view suite at The Ritz-Carlton.
